Christie Smith, Principal, Human Capital

Christie has spent the last 20 years consulting , focusing on aligning business strategy with the requirements of organizational structure, talent, leadership development and global workforce planning. Christie has managed large-scale global transformations around technology, M&A and organizational re-design. Additionally, Christie has worked with companies focused on all people-related needs associated with rapid growth and expansion. Christie joined Deloitte Consulting’s Human Capital Practice as a direct-entry Principal ten years ago, with responsibility for relationship management, delivery, and service to our top global accounts. Christie has led several large-scale global technology adoption projects leading change management, communications and talent management.

Christie holds several leadership positions within the firm including: Deloitte Consulting Executive Committee (rotational member), NorPac Women’s Initiative Leader for Consulting, Deloitte Consulting CEO’s Diversity Counsel, and Human Capital National Life Sciences Leader.

Michael Stephan, Principal, Human Capital

As a principal in Deloitte Consulting’s HR Transformation practice, Michael helps companies develop and integrate HR service delivery models across the operations and technology spectrum, with a targeted focus on optimizing the delivery of HR services. His global consulting experience traverses the HR landscape and includes shared services, HR outsourcing, global ERP deployment and enterprise transition and change management. Michael has led a broad range of projects for global organizations including a significant leadership role on two of the industry’s largest HR outsourcing deals.

While Michael’s experiences have taken him across all industries, he currently leads our HR Transformation services for the Life Sciences and Health Care industry. Michael has co-authored several of Deloitte’s points of view and methodologies specific to HR Transformation, while making notable contributions to publications such as HRO Today. Michael has been recognized as a “HRO Today Superstar” from 2008-2010 for his contributions to the industry. Michael received a B.S. degree in marketing and business administration from Albright College.

 

Jennifer Maslar, HR Staffing and Development

 Jennifer Maslar is currently Manager, HR Staffing & Development located at GE Corporate in Fairfield, Connecticut.  Most recently, Jennifer was Manager, HR Development Programs leading GE’s Human Resources Leadership Program (HRLP), Experienced Human Resources Development Program (EHRDP) and HR Executive courses.  In 2006, Jennifer was promoted to HR Leader for Finance and Business Development for GE Capital.  In this role, she also led the HR start-up of Corporate Financial Inc, also known as the “Utah Bank”.  Prior to this, Jennifer was the HR Manager for Global Risk and later the Asia region at Corporate Financial Services.  She also served as the HR Manager for Real Estate’s North America Equity Strategic Ventures, Partners and Belmont businesses in the US and Mexico.  Jennifer joined GE Capital in 1999 as part of the Corporate Finance HR team, where she was responsible for staffing and the integration of Heller Finance shared services. 

Jennifer began her GE career in 1996 through HRLP at GE Transportation Systems in Grove City, Pennsylvania and at the GE Harris Railway Electronics JV start-up in Melbourne, Florida.

Jennifer earned a BS degree in Management from Penn State University and an MBA from Gannon University.  Jennifer enjoys reading, interior design and shopping, in addition to spending time with her husband, Greg and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Pash and Piper.

John Fischetti, Manager, U.S. Compensation & Benefits

John attended theState University of New York at Albany and graduated with a B.S. degree in Economics and History in 1988.  Upon graduation, he joined Shearson Lehman Hutton as a member of the company’s management training program.  John spent the next five years in the financial services industry focusing his career in the areas of strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions.  In 1993, he was accepted into the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University where he received a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and International Business.  Upon graduation, John moved into the human resources field with a specific focus on executive compensation.  Over the next several years he held positions of increasing responsibility at companies within the investment banking and consumer products industries.  John joined GE in September 2006 from Altria Group, Inc., where he was the director of executive compensation and benefits planning.  In his current role as Manager, U.S. Compensation & Benefits, John is responsible for all U.S. benefits as well as compensation related planning and design for all employees at or below the Executive band level.
