The 2009 Competition weekend will be a busy one in Nashville, as Vanderbilt homecoming and several major conferences will also be taking place that weekend. We ask that you be aware of your surroundings as you enjoy our city, and that you also allow ample time to travel to all destinations.
If you plan on staying an extra night, please visit Vanderbilt University's Nashville information website for ideas on what to do. We will also include a guide to Nashville in your welcome packets, and as always, the Owen Leadership team and Ambassadors are happy to give you tips on local hotspots.
All teams are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
• Please ensure that your travel arrangements allow you to be at Vanderbilt by 8:30 a.m. on Friday morning for the Welcome & Kick-off. This will likely require your team to arrive on Thursday night.
• The competition officially ends at 3:00 pm on Saturday. Do not book a flight that departs before 4:30 pm on Saturday.
